New Jersey Urology and Summit Health FAQs
On November 15, New Jersey Urology (NJU) will become fully integrated as one care team with Summit Health — a leading provider of primary and specialty care.
Why did NJU and Summit Health come together?
NJU shared a vision with Summit Health: to improve the way health care needs are addressed for every patient, in every neighborhood. Summit Health helps patients with all of their primary and specialty care needs, supporting patients through a lifetime of care. As part of Summit Health, we can provide you with even timelier, higher quality, more accessible, and comprehensive care with an exceptional patient experience.
And if you ever need urgent care, you can walk right into any of our neighborhood CityMD locations, which are part of our connected care team.

- Care at every connection to deliver improved outcomes at a lower cost of care.
- Improved efficiency.
What will change now that NJU is a part of Summit Health?
Your health and well-being are always our top priority. Nothing will change about the type of care you receive as a result of this integration. You can continue to see the same doctors you know and trust at the same convenient locations.
You may, however, notice some visible changes. The NJU web site and social media platforms will migrate to Summit Health’s platforms. When you come into our offices, you will also see signs and materials reflecting our new Summit Health name.
Will my providers remain the same?
Yes. Continuity of care is our priority. You can continue to see the same doctors you know and trust, at the same convenient locations. Now, you will also have access to health care providers across urology and an additional 80+ specialties at a lower cost of care. You will also be connected with 150+ convenient CityMD urgent care locations. Our quality care teams will seamlessly help connect the dots for you — whether you need care right now, or for a lifetime.
How do I make appointments with my doctors now?
You can continue to schedule appointments by phone with your physician or on MyChart, the way you always have. To make an appointment online before November 15th, please visit the Find a Doctor page at NJU.com.
Can I keep my current insurance?
Yes, your insurance will remain the same. We always recommend that you verify location and physician participation with your health plan.
Will I continue to use MyChart?
Yes. You can continue to use MyChart to securely manage and see your health information 24 hours a day from anywhere you are. You can access MyChart from your phone, tablet, or computer and stay connected to your health care. For any medical emergencies, please call 911.
Will the billing processes change?
You may notice a few minor differences. Our new logo will appear on your bills. And if you call our phone number with a billing question you will be routed to a centralized department that will direct you to the right place. If you have any questions about billing and insurance, please call (908) 790-6500. For any concerns regarding your wellness and care, please contact our patient relations team at (908) 977-9499 or email wecare@summithealth.com.
