After graduating from James Madison University with a degree in Health Administration, Dr. Neil Sherman obtained his medical degree from New York Medical College in 1998. Dr. Sherman then completed his General Surgery and Urological Surgery Residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, New Jersey Medical School in 2004.
Following his residency, Dr. Sherman completed a prestigious Fellowship in Reconstructive Urology, Female Urology and Urinary Incontinence at Duke University Medical Center under the tutelage of Dr. George Webster, internationally renowned professor of reconstructive urology.
Prior to joining Urological Surgical Associates in 2009, Dr. Sherman was the Director of Reconstructive and Female Urology at UMDNJ – New Jersey Medical School and University Hospital, and an Assistant Professor in Urology.
Dr. Sherman is certified by the American Board of Urology in urologic surgery. He has published multiple journal articles and book chapters, and lectured at local and national meetings. Dr. Sherman places an emphasis on compassionate patient care and develops a unique treatment plan tailored to each individual patient.
