Dr. Troy Sukkarieh received his Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology with a distinction in research at the University of Washington. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York where he was awarded the American Society of Hematology Scholarship. He served his surgical and urologic residencies at Stony Brook University Hospital. As part of this residency, he performed duties at The Northport Veterans Administration Hospital and Winthrop University Hospital. Dr. Sukkarieh also completed a fellowship in advanced laparoscopy and robotic surgery at Cooper University Hospital.

Dr. Sukkarieh has authored numerous manuscripts in peer reviewed journals and has given podium presentations at international meetings. He is a board-certified urologist and is a member of the American Urological Association and Society of Endourology. Dr. Sukkarieh has been the acting Chief of Robotic Surgery at CentraState Medical Center since the inception of the Division of Robotic Surgery in 2010.
