Clinical Research Programs
NJU physicians are engaged in a variety of clinical research programs to evaluate new drugs, therapies, and treatments with the potential to find new cures for urologic disorders and diseases. We are proud of the leadership role our doctors take in helping to prove the safety and efficacy of new treatments, and the opportunity it gives us to make those options available to our patients. Those potential advantages, however, are always considered in the context of the overall health and well-being of our patients.
Our clinical research department has a dedicated research staff who will assist you through your entire journey. Our state-of-the-art facilities offer a locked storage area for all trial-specific documentation and Investigational Product (IP), -70°F freezers to store specimens and IP, electrocardiogram (ECG) machines, refrigerated centrifuges for precise temperature management and sample protection, and pharmacokinetics (PK) capabilities.
If you think you may be eligible for and interested in participating in a clinical research program, your NJU urologist will discuss the potential benefits and risks with you so that you and your family can make an informed decision.
